My Story

Whilst we've all been cooped up at home I've started piano lessons (I'm being taught by my very talented boyfriend) and am now joining the London Music Fund's Grade 1 challenge.

I think it's become clear to many people in the past few weeks that music and the arts play a vital role in our happiness and wellbeing. The London Music Fund has always championed this and acknowledged the importance of music in a child's life. They strive to enable young people who show dedication and committment to learning an instrument to develop their skills and progress, regardless of their background.

I've always loved music and am a passionate singer and musical theatre performer but I'm ashamed to say I've never committed to learning an instrument. Given that we now have far too much time on our hands I thought that it's now or never...

Any support would be FANTASTIC and thank you in advance. I'm pretty nervous about how I'm going to get to Grade 1 at all but I'm sure that raising funds for LMF will motivate me to keep practising!
